For the "Celebration" category of the What's in a Name Challenge, I chose The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. When you choose books for the different categories in this challenge you are encouraged to interpret the category loosely and I'm pretty sure it's a Celebration of sorts to go to the circus, wouldn't you agree?
The Night Circus is a wonderful and completely fun fantasy novel about a magical traveling circus that arrives without warning and is only open at night. Not your typical circus, the Night Circus is composed of many tents and pathways; each tent containing a magical world once you enter. The circus comes about after two old and jaded magicians pair their students against each other. These two students, Celia and Marco, only know they are in some sort of competition but they do not know the perimeters of the game, how the victor will be chosen, or even who their opponent is. Both of the contestants are very skilled, making the circus a wonderfully magical place to be. Many peoples lives are entwined, unbeknownst to them, in this game from the other circus performers to an ever growing group of people who follow the circus wherever it may go.
I thought this was a very fun book that kept me drawn in and wishing I was at the circus. A little bit of good and evil and a little bit of Romeo and Juliet makes for a great story.

I've wanted to read this - sounds like a grown up hunger games type book.
